Access to Justice & Environmental Justice
One of the major limitation for the poor, disadvantaged and vulnerable including women and children is accessing justice. While multiple interventions have taken place over the years, access to justice still dominates modern day debates about progress made in rule of law and justice sectors.
CDPR has its mission to undertake various activities in bridging gap between the disadvantaged communities and the justice regimes whether formal or informal.
It is common knowledge that environmental degradation and losing nature to unregulated urban sprawl has affected communities who rely on nature and follow traditional living. Urban and Rural development has largely been challenged by population explosion and weak institutions who have not protected forests and endangered habitat and flora and fauna. CDRPR resolves to support environmental justice and institutions promoting environmental protection.
