The Centre for Dispute Resolution
In Pakistan, time and cost of litigation in formal justice serves as a disincentive for investors. Moreover, common man and litigant does not necessarily comes out of the formal justice processes as a winner. Although informal justice delivery has inbuilt limitations, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) through negotiation, mediation and arbitration can serve the interest of investors, companies, partnerships, litigants and others.
The Centre for Dispute Resolution has trained ADR experts who can not only serve professional requirements of companies, banks and individuals by making representations in various forums but also act as mediators or arbitrators in pending cases or disputes which have not yet been filed in courts.
Litigants can refer a case to Centre for Dispute Resolution for mediation and arbitration through multiple provisions of procedural and special laws.
