Governance, Political Participation and Knowledge Dissemination
Due to internal and external adverse developments, Governance has become an acute problem and such issues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and Pakistan has engulfed the attention of Governments, Civil Society institutions and donor agencies and countries having stake in Pakistan.
Rule of Law and Security and Justice Sector institutions need to be strengthened and institutional capacity building is required.
Political participation of citizens in particular youth, women and minorities need to be ensured while all citizens of Pakistan should be given opportunity through public participation in day to day affairs of the Government through multiple means.
It has largely been felt that there is a lack of knowledge and understanding of citizen’s rights and in this regard The Centre for Dispute Resolution and Policy Research will through various tools disseminate knowledge among communities and other beneficiaries.
The Centre for Dispute Resolution and Policy Research supports Government and Citizens in improving governance and give them opportunity to benefit from constitutional rights and ensure their presence in political activities.
