Urban & Rural Development, Investment Climate and Tourism
With population increase, Afghan refugees, Internally and Tribal Displaced People and haphazard urban development, the landscape of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan has been changing rapidly. Urban and rural development has created need for safer cities and youth engagement and opportunities which are almost non-existent in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan.
Investment Climate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa needs to be promoted for supporting private sector development and attracting foreign and local investment which in short and long term will create employment opportunities. In this regard, CDRPR will work with concerned governmental, non-governmental and international organizations for introducing initiatives and incentives creating business enabling environment.
Tourism could be the backbone of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistani economy. With cultural heritage and potential for developing eco-tourism and other tourism opportunities, development and tourism can go hand in hand and in this regard CDRPR intends to work with relevant institutions.
Domestic and International trade and transport has much to offer and this area will be closed worked on along with Small and Medium Enterprises, Skill development, Labour and Micro-finance.
